This new duck showed up here a couple of days ago. I’ve never seen a wild duck like this before – looks more like a domestic farm duck to me. Anyone know what this is?

I am new to the idea of living on a boat but I’d like to try it. I live in Baltimore MD. We get snow from time to time but the harbor never freezes. What would I have to do to winterize a boat here?
I’m thinking about trying to rent someone else’s boat as an apartment.
I’m really not sure what you should expect around Baltimore. Your best bet is to just ask around at your local marinas. The locals there should be able to answer any questions about winterizing or about winter live aboards.
